Everyone Matters

As I sit here and ponder, I believe it’s vital to grasp the importance of knowing those amongst us that we serve in leadership, business, personal or within the sphere of your community. I can’t believe July 7th will be my 52nd birthday and as I get more mature in age, I have come to the realization that knowing those amongst us requires time and communication. 

Recently, I’ve discovered a research on the different generations and how significant each generation is to the world. Over the last 3 years after the COVID19 many relationships was dismantled from us either through death or individuals felt you’ve served your purpose ….. 

A recent study I performed on the different generations I found interesting. 

Listed below are the 7 different generations and ages. With this information, I encourage you to have an awareness and not miss opportunities to empower and encourage; to not forget about your silent generations and your baby boomers. 

In this article, they discuss the 7 generations based on their birth years and how their attitudes and beliefs were shaped by their times and experiences.

They define the 7 generations as follows:
1. Greatest Generation: Born 1901-1924
2. Silent Generation: Born 1925-1945
3. Baby Boomers: Born 1946-1964
4. Generation X: Born 1965-1980
5. Millennials: Born 1981-1996
6. Generation Z: Born 1997-2012
7. Generation Alpha: Born 2013-2025

What are your thoughts?? 
For me, there should be classes and advance studies to improve skill sets now so they’re accessible to Society. When I sit back and reflect, there will be a day where ALL generations will be in one room. How will you engage in those conversations??? I’m glad you asked and I have a resolution for you. 

My first suggestion, but not limited to will be to have a diverse community and culture based environment. Having this system set up will ensure inclusiveness and allows everyone voice to be heard without conflict. 

Generations and Gods (POV) point of view 

God’s purpose and plan are greater than any individual and continues from generation to generation. That perspective might be hard for us to grasp as a people, but we must remain focused, awareness up, and show compassion toward one another regardless of age.

In closing, I encourage the reader to be more intentional when reaching the different cultures and diverse communities because EVERYONE Matters! (Teach our Children ) and they will teach their friends until ALL generations understand that without LOVE and FORGIVENESS we will ALL perish!

2. Joel 1.3: Tell your children about it, and let your children tell their children, and their children the next generation.
